How Many Porta Potties Do You Need for an Event?

Porta potty count for parties and events: 1 unit per 50 guests up to 6 hours, plus adds for alcohol, long events, accessibility and hand washing.
The base rule

Plan 1 standard porta potty for every 50 guests at an event up to 6 hours.
Then add

Whole-number adds

Alcohol: +1 unit per 4 units
6–8 hours: +1 unit per 4 units
Accessible: at least 5% per cluster, min 1
Food: 1 hand-wash station per 4 toilets
Example
4 + 1

150 guests, 5 hours, open bar: 3 from the chart + 1 for alcohol = 4 toilets (1 accessible), plus 1 hand-wash station.
Backyard party

80 guests

An 80-guest graduation party needs 2 units — 3 if drinks are served.
