How should I plan porta potties for a Penn State football weekend?
Penn State home games at Beaver Stadium bring more than 100,000 fans into State College. Private lots and game-day parties need about 1 standard unit per 50 guests for 6 hours, plus 1 more for every 4 units when alcohol is served. Deliver before Friday traffic builds, and pick up Monday.
Roads near the stadium close or back up on game days. Our trucks avoid those hours, so book a Thursday or Friday drop.
Use our porta potty count guide and add hand-washing stations where food is served.
Do I need State College borough approval for porta potties?
Porta potties on private property in State College usually need no borough approval. Events on public property need an application to the Borough of State College, and the borough asks for notice 45 days before the event. Penn State controls its own campus lots. Confirm with the office before delivery day.

How do Centre County winters affect service in State College?
State College winters bring freezing nights from December through February and regular snow. A standard porta potty handles the cold best because it has no water lines. Sinks and hand-wash stations can freeze, so we suggest hand sanitizer in deep cold. Keep a plowed path for the service truck.
Late-season games in November can be cold. Standard units are the safe pick then.
