Can you deliver here?

Job sites, new builds, roofing and remodel jobs across Easton and the Lehigh Valley; GPS pins welcome.

When does it arrive?

Same day when you call by 11 a.m.; early-morning drops for next-day orders.

Which unit do I need?

One standard unit per 10 workers covers most crews; add a hand-wash station for 10+ workers.

How is it cleaned?

Weekly service included: pump, clean, disinfect, deodorize and restock. Add visits for big crews.

What is the full cost?

Billed per 28-day cycle; the first cycle includes delivery and the quote shows pickup.

How many porta potties does OSHA require on a construction site?

OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(c) Table D-1 requires 1 toilet for 20 or fewer workers. For 20 or more workers, OSHA requires 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers. For 200 or more workers, OSHA requires 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 50 workers. A standard porta potty has 1 seat and 1 urinal.

How does weekly job-site servicing work?

Weekly job-site servicing means a service truck visits once every 7 days to pump the waste tank, scrub and disinfect the seat, walls and floor, deodorize the tank and restock toilet paper. Crews over 10 workers per unit, or summer heat, may need 2 visits a week to keep the unit usable.

  • Keep the unit reachable: within about 15 ft of the access road, not behind material piles or a locked fence.
  • Tell us about gate codes and site hours so the tech is not locked out.
  • Need an extra visit before an inspection or a big pour? Call; extra service runs an estimated $60–$95.

How does 28-day job-site billing work?

Job-site porta potties are billed every 28 days, not by calendar month. The first cycle includes delivery. The rental renews automatically every 28 days until you call for pickup, and 3 days costs the same as 28 days. Give us your end date at booking and we schedule the pickup in advance.

A standard job-site unit costs an estimated $165–$250 per 28 days with weekly service. Businesses, schools and government buyers can apply for invoice terms. The 28-day billing guide walks through a full-year example.

What extra units do contractors add?

Contractors most often add a hand-washing station for crews of 10 or more, a second unit when the crew grows, and a wheelchair-accessible unit on public projects. Units can be added or removed mid-job with one call, and each change is quoted before the truck rolls.

See hand-washing station rental and wheelchair-accessible units. For towed units, high-rise or crane-lift needs, call to discuss.

Questions renters ask

Can I start with 2 units and drop to 1 later?

Units can be added or removed at any time. We pick up the extra unit on a service visit and the next 28-day bill reflects the change.

Can you invoice our company instead of charging a card?

Approved contractors can get invoice terms such as net 30. New accounts start with a card, and we send a credit application for future jobs.

Do I need a permit to put a porta potty at the curb?

A unit on private property usually needs no permit. A unit on a city street or sidewalk may need a street-occupancy permit; confirm with the City of Easton or your municipality before delivery.

Can the driver get through a locked gate?

Share the gate code or arrange an escort. If the driver cannot reach the spot, a trip fee may apply, so give us site access details at booking.

What happens to the unit in winter?

We add a non-toxic antifreeze mix to the tank in freezing weather. Keep a path shoveled to the door and to the truck. More in the winter porta potty guide.

Do you rent dumpsters too?

Ernest Rental Works focuses on portable restrooms and hand-wash stations. Ask us on the phone and we can suggest a local dumpster company.
