Porta Potty Rental Service in Allentown, PA

Can you place a porta potty at an Allentown rowhome?

An Allentown porta potty can go at most rowhomes if the truck can park within about 15 feet. Center City, Old Allentown and the Wards have tight rowhome blocks and narrow back alleys. The West End and East Side usually have driveways. Street parking spots may need city approval.

Allentown has dense rowhome blocks and one-way streets downtown. Plan the spot before delivery day.

• Pick level ground within about 15 feet of pavement.
• Do not plan a spot that needs the truck on a lawn.
• If the alley is narrow, a curb spot may be the only choice.
• Keep the unit reachable for weekly service.

Text us a photo and we will confirm the spot.

Who handles event permits in Allentown?

Allentown event permits go through the city's Bureau of Special Events. A porta potty on your own property usually needs no permit. Units on a street, sidewalk or city park, or at a public event, may need approval. Confirm with the Allentown office before you book the delivery date.

Start here:

• City of Allentown Bureau of Special Events for parades, park events and street events.
• State roads fall under PennDOT highway occupancy permits.

Townships around the city, like Whitehall and South Whitehall, have their own offices. Rules change, so get approval in writing first.

Which units work for Allentown fairs, parks and job sites?

Allentown has big crowds at the Great Allentown Fair, held late August into Labor Day, and at Blues, Brews and Barbeque in June. For a backyard party, plan one standard unit per 50 guests for up to 6 hours. Remodel crews usually need one job site unit.

• Rowhome rehab or new roof: construction porta potty rental with weekly service.
• Park pavilion party or reunion: event porta potty rental, plus a wheelchair-accessible unit for older guests.
• Food served: one hand-washing station per 4 toilets.

How does winter and summer weather affect Allentown service?

Allentown winters freeze from about December to March, so we add antifreeze to long-term units. Deluxe sinks can freeze, so a standard unit is safer in deep cold. Summer heat in July and August means busy job sites may need service twice a week.

Keep a shoveled path to the unit after snow. In summer, place the unit in shade when you can.

Why does distance matter for an Allentown quote?

Distance is one of five price factors for an Allentown porta potty rental. Allentown sits about 18 miles from our Easton yard, so the trip is a bit longer than Bethlehem. Unit type, dates, service frequency and quantity also set the price. A same-day order adds a rush fee.

Job sites bill per 28-day cycle with weekly service included. See the porta potty rental cost guide for details. Closer to our yard, we also handle porta potty rental in Easton.
