Can you deliver to a farm or new home site near Nazareth?
Nazareth deliveries often go to farms, new home lots and small borough homes. Around the borough, Upper Nazareth, Lower Nazareth and Bushkill Township have long rural drives and gravel lanes. Our truck needs a firm surface within about 15 feet of the unit. Soft fields after rain can stop delivery.
- Borough homes near Center Square: tight lots, so a driveway spot works best.
- Farms and rural lots: send a pin drop if there is no street address.
- Gated sites: share the gate code and a site contact.
Farm crews follow OSHA 1928.110 field sanitation rules: 1 toilet and 1 hand-wash station per 20 workers within a quarter-mile walk.
Does Nazareth require a permit for a porta potty?
A Nazareth porta potty on private property usually needs no permit. A unit on a borough street or sidewalk, or at a public event near Center Square, may need approval. Nearby townships each have their own offices. Confirm with Nazareth Borough before your delivery date.
Start with Nazareth Borough for borough rules. Route 191 and Route 248 are state roads, so PennDOT highway occupancy permits apply there.
Get any approval in writing first.
Which units fit Nazareth parties, farms and builds?
Nazareth jobs include graduation parties, farm work, church events and new homes in the surrounding townships. A backyard party needs one standard unit per 50 guests for up to 6 hours. A home builder with fewer than 20 workers needs at least one toilet under OSHA rules.
- Graduation party: see our graduation party porta potty guide.
- New home build: construction porta potty rental on a 28-day cycle.
- Farm wedding: a restroom trailer if you have water and power.
- Farm crew: add a hand-washing station.
How does Nazareth weather change service?
Nazareth winters freeze from about December to March, and open farm fields catch strong wind. Long-term units get antifreeze, and we stake units in open spots when asked. In July and August heat, busy job sites may need service twice a week.
Keep a plowed path to the unit after snow. Place summer units in shade when you can.
